Relics of St. Jude

For the first time ever, the relics of St. Jude will leave Italy and tour churches, schools and other locations across the United States. St. Jude, one of the 12 apostles, is the patron saint of hopeless or difficult causes. As part of a national tour, the relics will be at St. Maria Goretti Parish in Westfield on Wednesday, October 4th.

According to Fr. Carlos Martins, Director of the “Treasures of the Church” ministry, who will be hosting the visit, the visit is an effort to give comfort and hope to all who need it and provide an opportunity for individuals to experience intimacy with someone who dwells in heaven and beholds God face-to-face.”
